It is more elegant to pontificate than it is to sweat.

Harold Evans, sometime editor of The Sunday Times said this.

...but try pontificating when you're riding Alfie in the sweltering heat in a sand school that's like the Sahara Desert.

Me this morning. (I stood on his back to locate the nearest oasis)

Not that I'm COMPLAINING about the heat or the riding, you understand.

I know how lucky I am not to be chained to a desk in an office from 9-5 or longer without air-conditioning.

I know how lucky I am to be in work at all.

See, just then I was pontificating, which I think is much more elegant than sweating.

Don't you?
