No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.

Today is the first day of Little Acts of Kindness Week. It's exciting.

Here's an advert in Question - Whistler BC's local paper - with thanks to Laurie Coxon and to John Magill, the design manager.

And here's the map of the world showing where, already, people have started:

And here's a more detailed map of the UK, showing the same:

Happy, happy, happy it makes me that there's a tangible way to demonstrate people's unfailing generosity.

I KNOW people are very kind. I've always known that.

I know also, that some people don't like to make known the kind things they do, feeling it somehow diminishes the act itself. While I completely respect that, LittleActs.com is NOT anything to do with being self-congratulatory! You can be absolutely anonymous, not use your name or make up an alias, the sillier the better...

Little Acts of Kindness is simply, for me, about being more aware, of looking for more opportunities to be in action, and of creating a momentum, a critical mass...

It would be SOOOOOOO brilliant if we could cover the world in hearts.

WOULDN'T IT?

That's your mission, should you choose to accept it, people of the world.
